PHASE 1
Ofakim, Israel 🇮🇱
Completed in 2017, Lubetkin Field Foundation raised $30,000 to deliver a brand-new community soccer field for Abir Yakov Elementary School. This milestone was made possible through two highly successful fundraising events that brought together more than 250 supporters, alongside the generous contributions of our donors and partner organizations. We are especially grateful to the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest, whose $15,000 matching grant doubled the impact of community giving and played a critical role in bringing this project to life. Together, this collective effort transformed an idea into a lasting space where children and community members can safely play, connect, and enjoy the beautiful game!

PHASE 2

Tilcara, Argentina 🇦🇷
In the northern mountains of Argentina, the town of Tilcara, a deeply fútbol-rooted community of approximately 12,000 residents, is set to receive its first-ever public turf soccer field. Designed as a 7-a-side pitch and larger than Lubetkin Field Foundation’s inaugural project, this field will significantly expand access to safe, high-quality playing space for the local community. The field is intended to support organized training, open play, matches, tournaments, and community events, serving players of all ages and skill levels. Thanks to the generosity of LFF’s donors and supporters, construction is currently underway, marking an important first step toward the long-term vision of developing a complete community soccer complex in Tilcara.

FOUNDER'S NOTE
Dear Reader,
From as young as I can remember, there was no feeling that could match kicking a ball around on a bright, lively field. When I began to understand how fortunate I was for such ease of access to play soccer on a glowing turf or grass field, I felt my higher self calling for action: help others experience the same joy I was so grateful to have growing up. Now, as a 22-year-old Elon University graduate, I'm launching my next project. Will you help me help other communities throughout the world?
Thank you for your support,

Josh Lubetkin
